Malta Flag Registration Services

Vessel Registration under the Maltese flag is regulated by Malta’s Merchant Shipping Act. In this process, Palm Shipping liaises between vessel owners, managers and maritime law offices.
Malta is party to IMO and ILO International Maritime Conventions, and the Maltese flag is recognised and recommended by all major banks and financial institutions.

Marine Lubricant Distribution

As the exclusive representative of “TOTAL Lub Marine” in Malta, we offer supplies of all main lubricants ex-stock with competitive terms and conditions.
We provide supplies in drums or in bulk ex-drum in Malta’s major ports of Valletta and Marsaxlokk and on Malta’s roads. We operate on a 24-hour basis, including at weekends and on public holidays.
At Palm, we supply lubricants promptly upon the vessel’s arrival and at Malta roads, without any delay or clearance procedure. What’s more, no calling costs are incurred for offshore supplies of TOTAL Lub Marine products if the vessel is handled by our agency.

Warehousing & Distribution

Thanks to Malta’s geographical position, our warehousing and distribution division grew out of our customers’ needs and requirements in the Mediterranean Sea.
Malta is connected to several ports worldwide through its Freeport Container terminal, which has prompted development in this sector. The segment mainly caters to international clients who use Malta as a base in conjunction with or as an alternative to Northern European ports.
We also offer our warehousing services to vessel owners who use Malta from time to time as a base for the delivery of ship spares.
Our warehousing facilities are located in the shipping terminal in Marsaxlokk port. And, cargo may be shipped to Malta by FCL, LCL and air.
Our warehousing and distribution services include:
– Covered storage facilities in a customs-free depot in Malta (exempt from import and export customs taxes) – a service available to forwarders and international trading companies.
– Distribution services by FCL, LCL and air through our in-house forwarding division. Services to North African and Black Sea ports are also offered directly from Malta.
– Stock control, including packing, crafting and labelling.
– Uncovered storage area for vehicles and equipment.
